Giving using your Generous App

Apps are the most popular and secure way of managing your church giving.

Make sure you have downloaded and installed your Generous App and have set up your account. See how-to here. 

Once you've done this here's how to make a payment.

> Login

> Search for your church and make it a favourite (STAR)

> On the HOME page of your church (see example, Our Community Church) Select the GIVE button >

> Select your CHURCH CAMPUS

> Select a FUND you wish to give to

> Enter an AMOUNT (whole dollars only)

> (Optional) You can +Add Another FUND and AMOUNT if you wish

> Indicate whether this is a RECURRING gift (select on [right] if it is a recurring gift, or leave it off [switch to the left] if not.)

> Select your PAYMENT METHOD

Please note you can choose to + Add a new payment method here, either a Credit/Debit Card or Direct Deposit Account. You can also save this for future use.

> (Optional) You can choose to Cover the transaction fee as part of your gift or payment by ticking the box. Note: Some organisations may choose not to have this feature active on their platform and therefore not visible.

> (Optional) You can also choose to +Add a Note to the Church accounts / pastoral team.

> Click the GIVE button

> Review your transaction > Press CONFIRM
