Generous fees

Generous makes getting on with mission a breeze. 

The great thing about Generous is there are no long term contracts, no PCI or security fees, no deposit or transfer fees, and no hidden fees of any kind. 

The standard fees for Generous are,

Monthly Platform Fees

There is a $15 monthly platform subscription fee. 

There is a $50 monthly waiver fee. This fee is waived when monthly income exceeds $8000. This is billed upon signup.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) the set-up fee will be waived for all churches until April 31 2020.

Set-up Fee 

There is a one-off platform set-up charge based on the size of your regular congregation size.

Coupons: At times discounts may apply by the use of a coupon. Please notify your onboarding manager.

User Transaction Fees

VISA / MasterCard Credit/Debit card transactions: 2% + 0.30 per transaction.

• Example: $100 donation --> $97.70 deposited

AMEX (& International) card transactions: 3.5% + 0.30 per transaction

• Example: $100 donation --> $96.20 deposited 

AUTOMATED DIRECT DEBIT transactions: 1% or 40 cents when less than $40.00 + 0.30 per transaction

• Example: $100 donation --> $98.70 deposited 

Option for donors to cover transaction costs (INCLUDED):

• Example: $100 MasterCard donation --> $102.30 deposited ($2.30 pays for the fee)

Event Ticketing Fee

A ticketing fee applies for use of the Text to Register – Ticketing Module. 

• Ticket fee: Free = $0 fee (where it’s a free event)
• Ticket fee: $1-$20 = 30 cents
• Ticket fee: >$20-$50 = 50 cents
• Ticket fee: > $50 =$2

SMS Reminders / Messages (where enabled): 7 cents per SMS

Statutory Fees

On occasions standard financial institutional charge-back and refund fees may be incurred.
