Do credit cards get charged instantly, or is there a delay period?

Generous processes payments immediately and clears funds to the nominated bank account upon receipt from the financial institution immediately (by the following business day). 

Credit (& Debit) Cards, such as Visa and MasterCard usually take between 2-3 business days for clearance. Direct Debit payments between 3-4 business days. 

First time Direct Debit payments will typically experience a five (5) business day verification period as local financial institutions enforce initial security checks. 

Generous is regulated by the payment terms of Australian Financial Institutions which include intermittent clearance delays due to National and State banking holidays.

Generous does not hold monies and clears funds immediately upon clearance of all payments.
