Yes we provide you with a range of options to keep givers anonymous.
As with all digital transactions require personal identification the system logs this information in the database. This information can be accessed if required (e.g., to give a refund, receipt, verification, etc. this is very important and a financial requirement by Banks & Merchants) however the system provides a global dashboard for the admin or treasurer without seeing specific givers.
NB: No Credit Card detail can be accessed as it is tokenised.
Only the Admin (or selected users) given permission can drill down further to see any personal financial data – if they choose to.
Staff can be blocked access to this information.
We provide you with the ability to set permissions for staff in the Admin Console.
One proactive strategy is to encourage the church board to make a policy around accessing financial data, much like other confidentiality issues within church life, e.g., counselling information, WWCC flags, etc.
The good thing is the back-end Admin system can be largely ‘set-and-forget’. If it is integrated with XERO it will just send GL code income amounts not users.
