Cancelling a recurring transaction

If a congregant who had set up a recurring gift no longer wishes to contribute to a church fund, cause, etc, you can stop their recurring donation (their bank account would not be debited any more).

1. Click Reports > Recurring Transactions > Search, and find the transaction you need
2. Click that transaction displayed in the search results, and then click Deactivate, for example:

Tip: For statistical or campaign management purposes, you can view those recurring transactions and gifts that had been previously deactivated: on the Recurring Transactions page, select No from the Active drop-down list.
